Northeast Missouri Library Service is the home to the libraries located in Kahoka, Edina, Lewistown, and LaGrange, Missouri.
Your Local Library
The Northeast Missouri Library serves Clark County, Knox County and Lewis County.
Patrons who do not pay taxes to Lewis County but live and pay their taxes to the City of Canton will need to purchase a $15.00 registration card.
The Library welcomes everyone to come and meet the library staff and explore our
great services.
The library service has:
- Books, e-books, and DVDs for adults and children
- Computers, copier, fax, and microfilm scanner
- Children’s summer reading programs
- Children play area with toy animals, puzzles, games and Legos. (This may be limited due to flu and COVID seasons)
- Adult programs
- Special activities through the seasons
- Deliver books to the Nursing Home, Residential Care Facility and home bound patrons within the city limits
- Hosts children’s story time and visits daycares
The Library is a host site for GAMM employees and community service workers.
